Rob Newbold brings a different background and nuance to the manufacturing industry. His work life has been split into thirds between state government, education, and manufacturing quality/consulting. These careers have given him deep experience in legislation, consulting, project management, and teaching. Newbold’s previous role as a private consultant, designing and delivering leadership development, organizational change, personal coaching, strategic planning, and project management training to government and small businesses, gave him a chance to truly develop curricula that made a difference. 

After eight years in sales and sales leadership for the Illinois MEP, Rob is excited to get back into developing client services that impact organizational excellence with Manufacturer’s Edge. With experience in business operations, workforce, sales, marketing, customer experience, and partner outreach, manufacturers can be assured that programs will be relevant to their needs.
